I recently stayed at Hazelhurst Farm for a winter break and it was perfect. The cottage was cozy and warm, especially after a cold day exploring. The woodburner was a great touch. The hosts, Carl and Hayley, were fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage itself was beautifully presented with a traditional yet contemporary feel. The AV system and high-spec appliances in the kitchen were a bonus. The location was great, with easy access to both the New Forest and the coast. a home away from home experience.

We had an amazing time at Hazelhurst Farm! The Orchard Cottage felt like a cozy home away from home, with beautiful renovations and comfortable furnishings. The hosts were impeccable and the location was perfect for exploring Lymington and the nearby beaches. We even got to meet the farm animals on a lovely morning walk. Highly recommended!

The cottage we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a lovely outside area for a BBQ. the small well-kept garden was a nice touch. the cottage itself was comfortable for four people and had everything we needed. the fact that there was a snazzy home hub that controlled everything was pretty cool. the locally produced shower products and freshly baked brownies were a pleasant surprise. the location was convenient, being close to Brockenhurst and Lymington.

It was recommended to take taxis if you wanted to go out to a pub or restaurant at night. the welcome booklet mentioned that you could wander around the farm, but it was unclear which way to go.

The private garden was a lovely touch, even though the weather didn't allow us to fully enjoy it. I also appreciated the recommendation from Carl for nearby places to visit, like the charming Old Mill pub. And let's not forget the fun we had playing tennis on the court. a wonderful stay and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

While the cottage was perfect for our needs, I can see how it might feel a bit cramped for larger families. Additionally, the bed was a bit on the small side for two people and a tad too soft for my liking, affecting my sleep.

We were impressed with the welcoming tray, especially the delicious flapjack. The small issues we had with the kettle and bathroom sink were quickly resolved. The cottage was impeccably clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a toaster and microwave. The little homely touches like fresh milk, coffee beans, and marshmallows added to our enjoyment. We loved exploring the farm and seeing the animals. Hayley and Carl were fantastic hosts, always responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Plus, being able to see and stroke the horses whenever we wanted was a dream come true for my horse-loving toddler!

It took us a little time to adjust to the touch panel controls for the TV, radio, lights, and heating. At one point, we even experienced a momentary loss of connectivity.
